This tutorial will show you best practices for preparing Arrows for placement in SignAgent Manager™.
Arrows have the same visual impact as other Arrows in their family. However, they may not use up the same actual area. Therefore it is important to "Frame" the relationship with at least one constant length with the use of rectangle with no fill or stroke.
Example: An Arrow Up uses more vertical space and less Horizontal space than a Arrow Right.
Frame Details
In order to compare Arrows to Arrows we need to create a rectangle with no fill or stroke with these properties:
- Horizontal = width of current arrow.
- Vertical = height of the tallest arrow in the family (Arrow Up)
Arrow Details
Arrows should have:
- No stray points
- Closed paths only
- RGB values
Arrow Family
Note: they all have the same height with variable widths.
Alignment Options
Depending on how you place the container field the layout you will be able to get the following alignments in SignAgent Manager™:
- Left Justification
- Horizontal Center Justification
- Right Justification
Result
Once you have figured out the Arrow relationships. Individually copy and paste the Arrow and rectangle into SignAgent Manager™.
